Identifying Clients

When posting on social media its important to understand your goals so you can accurately target your customers. Your target customers are typically part of niches that you focus on. A community college may target local trades people and 25–30-year-old veterans in addition to 17–19-year-old high school grads. These target audiences are part of different niches and have different behavioral patterns. They will be on different platforms at different times and follow different trends. Identifying these can help you curate media to accurately target these groups.

Niches improve your viewers sense of community in many ways. Using in-group language builds rapport. Creating space for open dialogue promotes discussion and increases the chances of business transactions.
